I asked him if it upsets him what happened to all his ideas and how almost nobody knows about his contributions. He just said he enjoyed seeing them put to use.
After his keynote speech at JavaOne, many years ago. He was talking about an idea very similar to 43places… and I was into that at the time as well.
I asked him if we was interested in being involved in a startup like that… but then never responded to my emails. Oh well…
